Head Teacher : Mrs H Brown

I joined St. Anne's in September 2011. Since then, I have been made to feel very welcome by my hard working staff, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and enthusiastic pupils. We are busy developing a new Curriculum; a more detailed and accurate assessment system and our extensive outdoor learning areas.

Reception Teacher : Miss N Coyle. I am the teacher for the Foundation Stage. I joined St Anne's in September 2012 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I have developed a play-based curriculum which allows the children to have fun, whilst making friends and developing an understanding of the world around them.

I am a Forest School Leader and I have enjoyed the opportunity to develop our Forest School, which is held in our woodland area.

Year 3 Teacher: Mrs D McGonigle

Hello, my name is Miss McGonigle and I am the Year 3 teacher and I've been at St Anne's for seven years now.  I am the Assessment Coordinator. We take the children swimming in Year 3 and I enjoy seeing them grow in confidence in the water. We aim to be able to swim at least 25 metres by the end of the course. I have the great privilege of preparing our Year 3 children for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion during the year. It is a very special time for us all and it's lovely to see them develop through the transition between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Year 4 Teachers: Mrs L James and Mr P Warburton

Hello I am Mrs James.  I am the RE coordinator and I have supported the teachers to adopt our new RE scheme this year; The way, The truth and the life. I also help the school with planning masses; clebrating the liturgical year and preparing for the sacraments.

Year 6 Teacher: Mrs J Roberts

Hello, I am Mrs Roberts - I have been at St Anne's for about nine years now. It means a lot to me to work in a school where the Christian Faith is at the heart of what we do; I enjoy the lively atmosphere and also the quiet times of reflection.

I am also the Music Co-ordinator and I run the school choir. I really enjoy helping the children express themselves through music. I feel proud when visitors comment on what a happy school this is, and how polite and well behaved our children are!

I am also the Maths Lead Teacherand the Gifted and Talented Coordinator. In these roles I support teachers to ensure that everyone reaches their full potential.
