We are delighted that you are interested in St Anne's Catholic Primary School.  Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child.  We are here to help you through this process. On this page you will find out how to apply for a place at St Anne's Catholic Primary School.

St Anne's Catholic Primary School is a very good primary school. Our pupils are offered a wide range of opportunities and experience high levels of success. Our pupils reach their potential and grow into self assured and confident learners. As a catholic school we work in partnership with children, parents, governors, staff and with our church St Anne's in Nantwich.

In order to fully appreciate the high standards we have and the opportunities we offer at St Anne's we invite all prospective parents to visit us to meet our wonderful children and to see the school in action. Our open days for children who start in September 2019 are: Thursday 18th October 2018, Wednesday 31st October 2018, Friday 2nd November 2018, Monday 12th November 2018, Tuesday 20th November 2018 & Thursday 6th December 2018.

Please telephone the school office to arrange a guided tour of the school on 01270 685353.

Admissions for places are made through the local authority, Cheshire East Council.  You can find further information at

In year admissions are also managed by the local authority, although you are encouraged to contact the school to ascertain availability of places.  You can contact the school on 01270 685353 or at  If you wish your child to be considered for a place you will need to complete an information form available from the school. If and when a place does become available the school's admission criteria is applied to all children whose parents have indicated that they would like a place in a specified class by completing this form. A panel of Governors are involved in this process.

If you disagree with the school's decision to not offer your child a place you have the right to appeal through Cheshire East. At the appeal you will need to outline why you think that your child should have a place at the school e.g. school was in breech of their admission policy. The school will explain to the panel their reasons for not admitting your child e.g. doing so would be detrimental to the children already in the class.
