At St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, charitable work is an important way in which pupils live out Gospel values and put their faith into action. Throughout the year, the whole school community supports a range of charitable causes at local, national and international level. These opportunities
help pupils to develop empathy, compassion and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Guided by Catholic Social Teaching, particularly the preferential option for the poor, pupils learn to recognise the needs of the most vulnerable and are encouraged to respond with generosity through fundraising, prayer and acts of service, reflecting our commitment to care for others and the common good.
